Geomechanics and Tunnelling

The Journal edited by the OeGG since 1983 under the title  "FELSBAU - Rock and Soil Engineering" is available since 2008 with the title

      Geomechanics and Tunnelling

and is published by Verlag Ernst & Sohn, Berlin.

The publisher Ernst & Sohn, a member of the John Wiley Company, publishes and distributes journals in the field of engineering world wide and has an up to date internet portal (Wiley Online Library). Since February 2008 the journal Geomechanics and Tunnelling is available online.

The OeGG, together with the publisher intends to significantly increase the world wide distribution of the journal. Connected with the change in the name and the publisher is also a new layout and an upgraded contents.

The six yearly issues are published in English and German language. Papers from all over the world deal with practical and theoretical aspects of Engineering Geology, Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering, Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, Tunnelling, and Construction Management.

The contributions in the single issues generally are focussed on a topic of interest or a specific construction project. An international editorial board selects topics and papers, and guarantees a high quality of the journal

A membership with the OeGG includes the delivery of the journal Geomechanics and Tunnelling. Please make sure that the Society has your correct adress.

Non-members of the OeGG, interesting in receiving the journal Geomechanics and Tunnelling are kindly asked to contact Ernst & Sohn.
